Forget about Jimi Hendrix, Slash and even Michaelangelo Batio (sorry Canada), because to me, Kaki King is the best guitarist ever.
I first saw her on Leno a few years ago and was amazed. Where other musicians simply “play the guitar”, King transforms the instrument into something else entirely. Beneath her fingers the guitar becomes an entire soundscape.
